Respite Care

There is no maximum or minimum length of stay for respite, although it does depend on the availability of a suitable room.

Respite fees vary depending on the length of stay and your assessed needs.

Any admission is subject to a satisfactory assessment which will be carried out by the Manager, the deputy or a nurse.

Respite Terms and Conditions

 

  • All discharges must be before 12 mid-day or a further night will be charged.
  • Any admission is subject to a satisfactory assessment which will be carried out by the Matron or her deputy.
  • A non-refundable deposit of £200 per week will be required at the time of booking.
  • The weekly fee includes 24 hour professional care, accommodation, linen, full board and laundry (not dry cleaning). Extras such as newspapers and hairdressing are available on request and will be charged separately via our accounts department.
  • All items of clothing must be named to ensure that they can be returned to you from the laundry. We cannot accept responsibility for unnamed clothing.
  • At least 7 days supply of medication and any continence products must be brought with you.
  • Fees are reviewed on 1st April each year.
